Nasolabial Lines
These are the lines that go from the outer edge of the nostrils down to the mouth. They can often give a very severe, stern look to the face.
When we needle these, we are benefiting the mouth, the nose, and the sinuses on a health and beauty level.
OVERALL- This delightful patient sent me these two photos. On the left is her in March of 2020, and on the right August of 2021. What she said she loved about it was that while there were specific things she could point to that got better, it was the “I can’t put my finger on it, I just know I look a lot better” effect of facial acupuncture.
Eyebrow lift
A refreshed facial expression can be achieved by lifting the eyebrows. In this picture, the patient volunteered to have only one eye done to show how much difference one treatment can make.
Neck Lines
Absolutely fantastic results on horizontal neck lines.
Rosacea
Great success with rosacea treatment! Rosacea can cause unnecessary embarrassment for people. Often mistaken for simple acne or even that the person is red in the face due to shyness, it can create an everyday problem that erodes self-confidence. Treat your rosacea from the inside out and feel more comfortable in your own skin!
Wrinkles and Sun Damage
These are the most common complaints that lead patients to seek facial acupuncture or facial rejuvenation. In the picture below, you can see a profound difference in the patient’s nasolabial lines, lip lines, the downturn of her mouth, and the “orange peel” chin that were affecting her. A great result, as these lines are far shallower while allowing the patient to still look like herself.
The Mouth
While the usual protocol is 12 treatments, this is the wonderful result after only 3 treatments! Jowls are smaller, mouth is less down-turned.
Age Spots
Age spots can be difficult to treat largely because they tend to come back. Skin lighteners and IPL can definitely help, but why not reprogram your body to stop over-producing melanin in those spots? When these treatments are paired with Celluma light therapy and a good skin regimen, as well as herbal medicine to address the Qi Stagnation that created them in the first place, Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture is far and away the best choice for signs of aging and damage.
These results are with Celluma ONLY. If they were combined with facial acupuncture, we'd see even fewer forehead wrinkles, shallower nasolabial lines, and fewer mouth lines. The combination of the two therapies is unbeatable.
This was with Celluma only. We see a great improvement in facial color and tone. Combining this with facial acupuncture would've relaxed the forehead, softened nasolabial lines, and crows feet further.

Severely inflamed acne BEFORE TREATMENT
After only 8 Celluma treatments the patient's inflammation has dramatically increased. Almost no pustules. Adding acupuncture treatment plus herbal medicine would be an amazing complement to these results as well as helping the patient with any constitutional issues he's having that lead to this flare up.
