• Microneedling induces collagen production so it builds the scaffolding that holds everything up. All of the muscles in the body are attached on both ends to bones. The muscles in the face are attached on one end to the underside of your SKIN. So we use microneedling to thicken and strengthen that skin, while we use Cosmetic Acupuncture to work on the muscles and general blood flow. Microneedling also helps break up melanin in age spots and plumps up the skin overall. Gives a nice glow, too! Microneedling can help with deep acne scars, hyperpigmentation, texture irregularities, and large pores.

• Cosmetic Acupuncture uses points all over the face to LIFT things back to where they were. It does the deep work even though the needles are not deep. It also works on the emotional aspects of who we are. Individual extra-fine needles target expression lines and facial muscle tone. Systemic constitutional body points are used for addressing the deeper effects of aging and volume loss. We will likely have lifestyle changes and dietary therapy that will take into account your increased protein needs due to the Ozempic, Wegovy, Tirzepatide, etc. We will also talk about you doing gua sha on yourself so you can treat yourself for free for as long as you’d like.

• Constipation, belching, and insomnia can all be helped by the body points we use within the Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment.
